Violet Wang is an award-winning actor, voted Best Performer in a Play by the BroadwayWorld Michigan Awards for her role as Countess Almaviva in Figaro at the Hope Repertory Theatre. She often incorporates music into her work and is known as an experienced actor-musician. Violet has a strong command of Shakespearean works, and has performed in both traditional and contemporary Shakespearean performances. Selected credits include: Titan Theatre Company (LADY CAPULET, Romeo and Juliet), Clocktower Players (FESTE, Twelfth Night the Musical), Barefoot Shakespeare Company (JULIET, Lady Capulet; MARIA, Love’s Labour’s Lost), and Circle in the Square Theater School (TITANIA, A Midsummer Night’s Dream).
